Shobha Warrier, a journalist with more than thirty years of experience, currently works as the Editorial Director at rediff.com and India Abroad. She is the author of two English books,\u00a0The Little Flower Girl and Others \u2013 A diary of a journalist<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0His Days with Bapu \u2013 Mahatma Gandhi\u2019s Personal Secretary Recalls<\/em>\u00a0and three Malayalam short story collections,\u00a0Jalavidya, Meghana<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Ramakundam<\/em>. She won the Lalithambika Antharjanam special award for her book,\u00a0Jalavidya<\/em>\u00a0in 1996, and the Villgro Journalist of the Year award in 2011 for her stories on social entrepreneurship.
