About the Author

Dr T Sumathy aka Thamizhachi Thangapandian is a Tamil writer, English Professor and a Member of Parliament. She has nineteen publications including collections of poetry, essays and interviews to her credit. Birthing Hut and Other Stories is her first collection of short stories.

Dr V Bharathi Harishankar is a Professor of English and Vice Chancellor of Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore. She has 118 publications to her credit.
